Plasma Pen
The Plasma Pen is a medical device, in full evolution, allowing to manage in a non-surgical way all that is in excess of skin. It uses electric arc technology which allows membrane depolarization
The Plasma Pen is a portable piece similar to a large pen with a thin metal rod at the end that will produce a tiny arc of plasma when brought within a few millimeters of the skin's surface.
The plasma arc then induces a rise in temperature of the cells located on the surface of the skin. This heat retraction of the skin is totally controlled, thus preserving the deeper layers of the skin.
The Plasma Pen is therefore a precision instrument capable of retracting the skin by eliminating its superficial cells called corneocytes. There is no risk of scar after the operation because the plasma sublimation allows to target the areas without damaging the surrounding tissues.
What indications?
- Treat expression lines (upper, lower lip, crow's feet, etc.)
- Non-surgical blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelids): avoids surgery,
